ASSESSMENT
Grading System
The evidences of learning demonstrated / presented to your classmate and professor will be the basis of your grade. Varied assessment strategies will be utilized to document learning achieved in this course, 100 points is the highest points plus five (5) as bonus points. The UP System grade equivalency will apply in this course.
Attendance (10%)
You are expected to be at every class session on time. If it becomes necessary for you to miss the class session, you are expected to let me know in advance. If you miss 6 periods or more (depending on the University policy), you will get an incomplete grade even if you satisfy all other requirements.
Class Participation (10%)
You are expected to actively participate in all class activities whether in traditional face-to-face and online activities.
Online Participation (15%)
reflections and asynchronous online discussion
There are ten (10) online reflection papers and an asynchronous discussion (15 messages) to be submitted at UVLe. Submission will be on the next class meeting after each topic designated for reflection. Your insights and ideas on the topic should be reflected in your paper and not a summary of the class discussion.
Reporting (15%)
As a group, create a presentation of the assigned instructional media resources. Include in your handout a description of the media/technology, its strengths and weaknesses, its possible applications or implication to teaching and learning. You may use any slide presentation software and follow suggested guidelines for an effective presentation.
Skills Development I: Newsletter (10%)
You have the prerogative to decide on how your projects will look in any chosen topic in the area you are teaching or your area of interest.
Skills Development II: ePortfolio (10%)
Your learning portfolio (ePortfolio) should include all the requirements of this course except class participation. You have the prerogative to decide on how your portfolio will look. Be creative. Include a summary of what you have learned in this course; insights you have gained unforgettable experiences and even valuable lessons that are not officially part of the syllabus.
Online Examination (10%)
It would cover the basic topics and would utilize using UVLe. Cheating in any form is NOT acceptable.
Lesson Plan with Technology Integration (20%)
You will develop an instructional plan (lesson plan) of a chosen topic in the area you are teaching or your area of interest. You may use any instructional design model discussed in class. Submission will be done using googledoc.

Masasabi ko na napakadetalyado ng pagbibigay ng grado sa EdTech. Napakalaki ng epekto ng mga kailangan sa asignaturang ito. Kung mapapansin, maliit lamang ang mga nakalaang porsyento sa mga ito samakatuwid mahalaga ang bawat kailangan na ipasa sa EdTech. Maayos rin ang pagkakahati-hati ng mga porsyento. Masasabing nabigyan ng malaking parte ang mga importanteng kailangang ipasa. Maganda rin nagbigay ng bonus points para makabawi ang mga kailangan pang maghabol ng kanilang mga grado. Masasabi kong kailangan sigurong dagdagan ang porsiyento ng e-portfolio. Mabigat rin kasi ang proyektong ito. Maganda rin ang pagbibigay ng porsiyento sa paggawa ng lesson plan dahil isa itong mahalagang matutunan ng mga guro,

Reflection
Maganda na maranasan namin na magkaroon ng pagsusulit sa labas ng klase o sa kahit saan namin gusto. Medyo nakakabigla ang mga tanong dahil magkakahalo ang identification, essay at enumeration. Nakakataranta rin yung may oras kang hinahabol. Ayos rin na may nakikita ka kung ilang oras na lang ang natitira para namamanipula mo pa rin kung paano mo gagamitin ang oras na natitira.
Mas maayos tingnan ang online exam at masasabing mas naangkop ito sa panahon ngayon dahil sa pag-unlad ng teknolohiya ngayon. Gayunpaman, makikita mo pa rin ang ilang problema rito kumpara sa tradisyunal na pamamaraan. Masasabi ko rin namang epektibo ang online exam subalit kung ang magpapagawa nito sa klase, gusto ko pa rin ang tradisyunal na pamamaraan.

Reflection
Masasabi ko rin na mabusisi ang pagbibigay ng grado sa aming mga gawain. Mahalaga na pinapahalagahan namin ang bawat criteria na hinahanap ng mga magbibigay ng grado sa amin. Dapat na mabalanse namin ito upang maganda ang kalabasan naming grado. Maganda ito sapagkat sa hindi lang isang criteria magbibigay ng pokus ang mga estudyante. Masasabi ngang lahat ng bahagi ng kanilang gagawin ay mahalaga. Kinuha rin ang mga ebalwasyong ito sa mga kilalang unibersidad kaya masasabing kalidad ang pagbibigay sa amin ng grado.
